Hi everyone, I am a 43 year old man who has been drawing every since I was capable of holding a crayon. Artwork as been a hobby of mine since then and I will and I do draw on any scrap piece of paper, mainly just doodles. I would draw with any kind of drawing implement, from a pencil, biro and even with a burnt match when I have had nothing else to use. My wife keeps telling me off for this as there are little but very detailed doodles on everything in the house. I am very lucky and find drawing a pleasure and I have a very gifted talent.
But I have also learnt myself new techniques over the years which as enabled me to progress further in my chosen hobby. I first sold a pencil drawing of the incredible hulk when I was about nine years old to a friend of mine at school for the vast some of ten pence. Then when I got to comphrehensive school and had the option to take art as a subject, I didn’t. At the time I wanted to become a vet
Then when the internet became more and more popular, I started to sell online. I have sold loads of original pieces of artwork through ebay, and other online methods. To family and friends and any other person who wanted a unique piece of artwork either for them self or for a present for a loved one. I draw either in pencil, charcoal or pastels.
I love to draw portrait of people, family pets, scenery or basically anything that you anyone wants me to.
If you want me to draw a portrait then it is best if the light source is from one side of the face so that it show some interesting shadows.
